Hitman 2 / Level 1

Ok, you will probably laugh :lol: But I don't think its me. First off, when I try to play the game it says to insert the Disc for Hitman2. I do, no go. So I went out there and got the no cd 'patch' for the game, I can now play the game .... but, I am not able to pass the first level. I have done the level before and this was never a problem. I even looked up a couple 'walkthroughs' for the level and can't seem to pass it, with their suggestions.

Think the game 'patch' is causing this problem?

Okay dude, have you tried taking the patch off..and installing the actual updated patch for Hitman 2? check this out:

It says better "cdrom/DVD" support ..that could be the problem there..worth a shot.

Well, I loaded the new patch. CDROM still could not be read, so I downloaded the 'no cd crack' for the new version loaded. Can launch the game, but still having problems going past first level. This better not be because I suck at the game :lol::lol:

Okay..I haven't looked around for another one..not sure how many different no cd crack proggys you've tried..but if you can find another one thats different from the one you've got..I'd try that..I'd also be interested to see if you check out this:

If using the Level Jump cheat..if it actually goes to Level 2 okay and continues on at the end of Level 2 without stopping.

Well, I dont know what happend. But now I am able to pass level 1. What a wierd glitch huh??

so u think hitman 2 is good - is it better than 1 then?

I liked 1, but for some reason never quite got into it, not being able to save whenever u like doesn't appeal to my lazy nature...

To be honest, I never played 1. My friend (an amazing gamer, some call him Tom) told me about it so I got Hitman2 .. he said 1 was sweet, but 2 was way better.
