In final fantasy 7 for the pc, when I minimize the window using alt + tab, and then I try to maximize it again, the screen turns black and I am forced to close it using alt+f4....is there a way around this?

Hi MSalem :D What Video Card is this? Does it have the latest drivers? Does the Alt+Tab work on other games fine? What DirectX Version is this? And this is XP right? SP1? Have you tried using any applicable patches for FF7? I also need your name, CC# ..j/k :lol: Thanks.

lol :lol: The video card is an NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400. I *think* it has the latest dirvers....If the latest drivers are included when downloading updates from windowsupdate.microsoft.com, then yes, I have the latest drivers. Yes, alt + tab works on other games just fine. It's the latest version of directx. I am running Windows XP Pro w/ SP1. The only patch that I have used for FF7 is the Windows XP compatibility patch
