Anyone know of any good mame roms besides bells & whistles, final fight, golden axe, street fighter ii, and teenage mutant ninja turtles?

yeah, viewpoint rocks!....I especially like the challenge of beating it...I run it using nebula and it rocks because you can load/save state so that you never die and you never have to type in your initials...you also never have to inserts coins and you can choose the level of difficulty

ViewPoint is a sweet Space/Shooter..awesome graphics on MAME..with the NEO GEO roms files ...it's just a hard game hehe. Nebula is another emulator..haven't tried that one yet.

yeah....viewpoint can be run under mame but it requires the neo geo bios files which can be obtained from various different rom sites....I personally prefer playing viewpoint (and all other neo geo games for that matter) in nebula simply because of all the great options/features

Another sweet proggy is "Magic Engine" a Turbo Grafix 16 emulator. Some really cool games for that system, "Military Madness" ..turned based strategy is awesome..the AI isn't bad..really addicting :> I've got another one too called MSalem_VNC.rom <-- it's pretty good..but I can't get past Level cmd.exe ;)

1942!
Metal Slug games weren't too bad...
All the 1942 / 1943 / 19XX games were good too...
Bells & Whistles was the best though...
What was the one that was the same as Commando, only you were cowboys?
The old games just had that feel to them...
I had a Snes emulator a while ago, pretty sweet.
lol! I've thrown away heeps of 20c coins playing metal slug in my early years...GO the local arcade!
