As you may well know..Doom III is not yet finished..and has no released date yet..but the Alpha Version of Doom III has been leaked out on the net. Last night on the TSS(The Screensavers) -- TechTV show ..they showed the Alpha version that a staff member (Kevin Rose) downloaded of a site that carried it but wouldn't tell the URL on air...ID Software found out that they were showing it on Techtv..and quickly took action, the repeat of the show later on that night was replaced with another older show..and all Doom III related stuff on the TSS's webpage was gone after the show was over. Personally I think ID Software was wasting their time making a deal outta what they showed..for one thing..TSS is viewed by over 150,000 easy every night..all over the globe..10 minutes after they showed it..people were posting where to download it..and leeching it off kazaa..not to mention..all the computer news sites explaining Doom III Alpha is leaked. The Version on the net doesn't have sound in it..and alot of the effects..etc aren't fully completed obviously..because it's still in Alpha stages..and it's also not known who exactly released it first on the net..anyway I'm sure John Carmack is wants to let loose on whoever did it with a BFG-10K :lol:
