I was at the AMD booth alot, and never saw the demo ... DAMN! That would have been really cool!

Its not the Clawhammer.
Its the Athlon64....
I have heard that AMD are releasing 200(400)MHz FSB Athlon XPs.
Which is stupid - buy ANOTHER motherboard for those, or a Athlon64 one...
Little wonder they can't actually make any money...

So the AMD x86-64 cpu is not the K8? is it the K7.9?
For the current K7/Athlon I would get the nForce2 mobo with dual channel DDR using 400Mhz DDR. Lots of bandwidth.
Even the new i7500 dual Xeon mobo's are using Dual channel DDR now. Good stuff.
AFAIK Hammer series chips are K8's???
K8 may have been it's development name. It's not it's production name....
